Man & the sea

The interpretation centre “Man and the Sea” was born from the desire to contribute to the protection, preservation and evaluation of the aquacultural and maritime heritage of Lopar.

Experience a fragment of the rich fishing and maritime heritage of Lopar

Life on the island has always meant living with the sea. Today there are fewer and fewer fish and fishermen.

What remains are the stories, memories and objects, thanks to which we can learn, at least in part, about the way of life of our ancestors and present to visitors a rich heritage related to the inseparable relationship between man and the sea.

The Center offers a variety of content for all generations of visitors, and we are sure that you will enjoy it.

Visit us and enjoy the many interesting things we have prepared for you!
